Dance Works Studio MS

Dance Works Studio was established in 2007 by Adriana Heindl, who brought her vision of excellent dance education to the Jackson Metro area. The studio operates two locations: the main studio at 309B Morrison Dr in Clinton, and a gym facility at 941 Hwy. 80 East Suite M, also in Clinton. With 10 professional instructors and 78 years of combined dance and choreography experience, the studio serves around 300 students across 79 classes.

The studio teaches ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, hip-hop, acro/tumble, and cheer to dancers aged 2 and up. Classes are organised by age and skill level, from Baby Bunny (ages 1.5–2.5) through to advanced levels. For ballet students, the studio offers Pre Pointe training for those aged 9 and up who have the required foundation. All instructors are trained dancers with majors or minors in dance, ensuring students receive formal dance education across all genres.

Adriana Heindl, the owner and an instructor, moved to Clinton from Brazil in 1990 and danced with Mississippi Ballet Theatre and Ballet Magnificat during her high school years. She went on to study ballet at Belhaven College as a Ballet Major and performed with the Belhaven Ensemble. She has over 25 years of teaching experience. The studio also offers preschool programmes at Morrison Heights Preschool, Clinton Methodist Preschool, Funtime Preschool, and Madison Preschool.

The studio produces recitals and a yearly calendar of events, and operates a parent portal and registration system to streamline enrolment. The studio emphasises that each child receives recognition, respect, and individual attention, and frames dance education as developing physical health, social skills, emotional maturity, and cognitive development including self-discipline and time management.

Classes are structured by age and experience level, so you'll begin at the appropriate entry point whether your child is 2 or older. The studio has experienced instructors trained in multiple dance genres, and operates a straightforward registration process with access to a parent portal.

The studio employs 10 professional instructors, all trained dancers with majors or minors in dance. Owner Adriana Heindl is also an instructor; other named staff include Chiquila, Annelise, Katie, Kali, Tiffany, Courtney, Casey, Collett, Haddie, Emily, and Greta.

The studio offers introductory classes for young dancers aged 2 and up, with clear progression pathways and no prior experience required for entry-level classes.
