About this studio

Dancebuzz is an award-winning dance school founded in 2010 by professionally trained dancer and ex-City professional Nataliya Grigorova, who has been featured as an entrepreneur on Reuters, Financial News, and CNBC. The school offers evening and weekend adult dance classes across multiple centrally located London venues including Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Liverpool Street, Bank, St Pauls, Holborn, Southwark, Aldgate, and Tower Hill.

Classes are structured in progressive course formats rather than drop-in sessions, designed to enable focused and goal-oriented learning with tangible results. The core teaching focus is Ballroom and Latin styles: beginners learn the Waltz, Tango, Cha-Cha, and Jive; improvers expand their repertoire across these dances plus the Rumba; and intermediate students progress to all ten styles including the Foxtrot, Samba, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, and Paso Doble.

The beginner syllabus is specifically designed for absolute beginners with no prior dance experience. Classes typically run 1 hour per session across 5–8 week terms, with beginner evening classes starting as early as 6.15pm or as late as 8pm. Improver and intermediate levels build progressively on foundations learned in earlier levels, with intermediate courses structured over a full year to ensure comprehensive skill development.

Couples and singles are welcome. The school does not require you to bring a partner—instructor rotation is used throughout classes to balance leaders and followers, though couples may choose to stay together if preferred. Taster classes are available for £15 and allow you to try before committing to a full term. The school also runs a one-day intensive ballroom and Latin course, ideal for those with time constraints or couples preparing for weddings.

Social events are regularly held at the end of courses, giving you the chance to practise the styles you've learnt and dance with others. The school's instructors have appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing with the Stars, and other TV dance programmes, and many have competed internationally. Two named lead instructors are Nuno, who has 15+ years of continuous teaching experience and specialises in Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Bachata, Jazz, and Wedding dance choreography; and Mohammed, an award-winning Latin specialist who has taught for nearly a decade and believes all classes must be fun.

What to expect

Your first visit

You'll join a structured beginner, improver, or intermediate level class with 1 hour of instruction per session. Your instructor will break down steps into simple, easy-to-follow movements and teach you proper frame and timing. You will rotate partners (or stay with your own if you prefer), and there is plenty of practice time to music so steps come together. Most people arrive alone, and the atmosphere is designed to be welcoming and fun.
