About this studio
DANCETRINITY is a dance studio in central Hong Kong, a short walk from Sheung Wan MTR Exit B. The studio occupies one large space on the 8th floor of Fung Woo Centre that can be divided into two rooms using a soundproofed mirrored partition. The floor is sprung wooden, and the studio has a professional sound system.
The studio teaches swing, salsa, tango, ballet, Zumba, Bollywood, and stretch and conditioning classes. Swing classes range from beginner basics through to advanced, covering Charleston and Lindy Hop in both partnered and solo formats. Salsa is offered at multiple levels daily, with no partner required—classes span beginner work through to timing, musicality, spinning, turns, and open work. Tango and ballet courses are available for those wanting structured learning.
Instructors Thomas and Aurore lead swing classes and courses. Alexandre and Sasha teach salsa at various levels. The studio runs four-week absolute beginner salsa courses and four-week introduction to tango courses, alongside daily drop-in classes across all levels.
The studio is known for regular promotions: the 12 Days of Christmas runs from 25 December to 5 January with a prize draw for drop-in and new discount card purchases. A special Chinese New Year unlimited pass offers access to all walk-in classes during the seven-day festival period. The studio hosts social events like the Dance Fit-Mas Party, a zumba and dance cardio collaboration. The studio is open on public holidays.
What to expect
Your first visit
Walk into a spacious, mirrored room with sprung wooden flooring and professional sound. Classes are scheduled throughout the week at different levels. Drop in when you can, or sign up for a four-week course if you want to build foundation skills with a cohort. The instructors teach what you need to know—no ego, plenty of encouragement to have fun and connect with others.
