About this studio
Delaware House is a multi-disciplinary movement and wellness space at the corner of Russell and Delaware in Milwaukee's Bay View neighbourhood. Owned by Kathy Howell since 2007, it houses a collection of independent instructors and practitioners united by a shared commitment to helping people feel good, look good and have fun.
The studio teaches ballroom, West Coast Swing, salsa and bachata, Afro Latin, Argentine tango, Lindy Hop, swing and Zumba. Beyond dance, Delaware House runs movement classes, yoga, personal training, and houses on-site physical therapy (Bodies in Motion), massage therapy, skin care and Reiki services. This range means the space draws a diverse community—dancers, fitness enthusiasts, yoga practitioners and people seeking wellness care.
Dance instruction is led by independent professionals including Amanda Nelson (Zumba on Tuesday and Thursday mornings), Steven Antonson (Capoeira), and others listed on the site. The events calendar shows regular classes and social events across dance styles, from ballroom to belly dance to Argentine tango.
The building operates as a shared professional community rather than a single-brand studio, so each instructor manages their own schedule and contact. You can reach individual professionals through their bio pages, or contact Kathy Howell for general Delaware House questions.
