About this studio
Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Naples, located in the Chiaia neighborhood at Vico Santa Maria a Cappella Vecchia 8/a, teaches ballroom, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm and Swing styles. The studio is part of the Fred Astaire Dance Studios network, which has been helping to enrich lives through dance since 1947.
The studio offers private lessons, group classes and practice parties as part of its core teaching program. Whether you're learning for the first time or honing competitive skills, you can study the full range of ballroom dances—American, Latin, International Style and Ballroom Style—alongside Exhibition and Theater Arts dances. The teaching philosophy centers on making learning fun; instructors are certified in the Fred Astaire Curriculum, which presents the building blocks of partner dance in the way people naturally learn.
Wedding dance instruction is a significant focus. The studio customizes programs for couples, teaching everything from a few simple steps to fully choreographed routines. You can include your wedding party, parents, or just dance as a couple. The studio recommends starting lessons at least five to six months before your wedding, though shorter timelines are possible. A free consultation helps you plan your First Dance, Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances, or wedding party routines set to your favorite music.
The studio runs Regional, National and International Pro-Am and Professional Dance Competitions, as well as Guest Parties, Showcases, Spotlights, Community Outreach Events and special Coaching Sessions. These events encourage social interaction and give you chances to apply what you're learning.
You can come alone or bring a dance partner—lessons work either way. The studio emphasizes that you'll be on your way to confident dancing by the end of your very first lesson, and that ballroom dancing combines physical activity, social interaction and mental stimulation. New students can take advantage of a money-saving Introductory Offer.
