About this studio
Home of Dance is a dance school in Teatinos, Málaga, with more than twenty years of experience teaching urban dance, Latin styles and fitness. The studio specializes in hip hop and other urban styles, Latin dances including salsa cubana, bachata, kizomba and ruedas, and fitness training combining zumba, yoga, pilates, tonification and functional GAP workouts.
The school teaches children from three years old through to adults of any age. Classes are adapted to all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. The studio runs two annual galas where students perform for family and friends, and organizes competition groups, meetups and shows. A new class called "90's STYLE" revives 1990s choreography inspired by artists like Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys.
Morning sessions are available for yoga, pilates and zumba aimed at busy parents. Urban dance classes run at various times including mornings in Teatinos. Beginner bachata classes focus on basic steps, embrace technique and rhythm in small groups for personalized attention. Competition groups in urban dance train technique, choreography and stage presence for participation in competitions.
