About this studio

House of Shapes is a combined dance school and gym located at Hornsgatan 103 on Södermalm in central Stockholm. The two facilities operate under one roof, allowing you to combine gym membership with dance training or group fitness classes.

The dance programme covers multiple styles and age groups. Classes include barndans (children's dance), hiphop, balett, house, jazz and more. Teachers are described as some of Sweden's best dancers, each specialising in their own style. The school also runs professional-level classes (Proffsklasser) at advanced level, taken by students in their final year of the dance training programme. Professional classes are offered at two intensities: 90-minute sessions at 175 kr or 60-minute sessions at 100 kr, available on a drop-in basis with no pre-booking required. Class schedules for professional classes are posted on Instagram @house_of_shapes, typically on Thursdays for the following week.

The fitness side offers gym-only membership, daytime membership (valid 06:30–15:00 on weekdays), and the SHAPES membership which includes 24/7 gym access plus group fitness and dance classes. Group fitness options sit alongside dedicated SHAPES dance classes on the fitness schedule. Student discounts are available: 100 kr off SHAPES membership with valid student ID. An annual pass option provides 12 months of membership for the price of 15 months.

Opening hours are Monday to Thursday 06:30–22:30, Friday 06:30–20:00, Saturday 09:00–17:00, and Sunday 09:00–21:00. Summer hours (22 June to 16 August) are Monday to Thursday 07:30–21:30, Friday 07:30–19:00, and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–17:00. The reception closes 30 minutes before the facility closes each day.

You can reach the dance adviser Cristina Pomo by phone or email. Public transport options include bus 4 (stop Varvsgatan) and the T-bana at Hornstull (Högalid exit).
