About this studio

Latin Groove Brossard is part of Quebec's largest Latin dance network, with over 120 weekly classes across two locations in Montreal and Brossard. Founded in 1999 by Sandra Campanelli, a singer and performer with a lifelong passion for music and movement, the studio has grown from a small initiative into one of the most established dance schools in the region. Campanelli's background—performing internationally, appearing in film and live productions, and growing up in a musical family surrounded by Latin rhythms—shaped the studio's core philosophy: creating a space where dance and music are inseparable, and where people feel comfortable from their first visit.

At the Brossard location (8050 Taschereau Blvd), you'll find classes in salsa, salsa caleña, bachata, merengue, kizomba, belly dance, reggaeton, zumba, cha-cha, and more. The curriculum spans 7 skill levels, from absolute beginner to advanced, with structured progression designed so you can continuously grow. Classes run Monday to Friday 3pm–9pm, and Saturday to Sunday 12pm–5pm. The studio offers an intro offer of 7 classes for $37 (must be used within 5 weeks) for those starting salsa and bachata, making entry accessible.

Beyond group classes, Latin Groove provides private coaching ($90 for a single session, $635 for 10 sessions, or $150 for a session at your home within 10 km of the studio), semi-private sessions (max 4 people, $120 per session), and specialized programs including kids' dance classes (ages 4 and up), bachelorette parties, wedding choreography, and corporate team-building experiences. Available private instructors include Chiharu, Nataly, Carlos, Patrick, Francisco, Franklin, Golnoosh, Ligaya, and Pablo.

The Brossard location emphasizes convenience: free parking, easy access by public transportation, and all your favourite classes close to home. The studio has earned a 4.9 Google rating across 116 reviews and was named a Canadian Choice Award Winner in 2026. Beyond the studio, Latin Groove hosts social dance events including "La Gozadera" and end-of-session parties with live DJs, creating a community that extends beyond the classroom.

Studio history

Latin Groove was established in 1999 by Sandra Campanelli, who built her career as a singer and performer, traveling internationally and performing on stages around the world including film and live productions. Growing up in a musical family surrounded by Latin rhythms from an early age, Campanelli founded the studio with a clear vision: to create a space where people could experience the energy, connection, and joy of Latin dance in a welcoming and structured environment. What began as a small initiative has grown into one of the most established Latin dance schools in Montreal and Brossard, offering over 120 weekly classes across two locations while maintaining the original vision that people feel comfortable from their very first visit.
