Founded as a part-time project by Nicolette Garcia-Pawlowski and Agustin Garcia-Pawlowski, the studio has grown from a shared venture into a multi-dance operation with its own storefront space on Penn Ave. The name Los Sabrosos—meaning "full of flavor"—reflects their teaching philosophy: helping individuals find freedom, passion, self-expression, and self-confidence through movement.

The studio offers group and private classes across a wide range of styles: Salsa, Bachata, Brazilian Zouk, Argentine Tango, Bellydance, Bollywood, Ballroom (including Waltz, Jive, and Rumba), Burlesque, Hip-Hop, Zumba, STRONG Nation, Yoga, and Elemental Fusion. Classes are structured at multiple levels—Beginner, Experienced-Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced—with four-week progressive series and drop-in options. Group course series cost $60 (or $40 for low-income, military, college student, and senior participants), while single drop-in classes are $20. Multi-course packages and full-month unlimited passes are available. No partner is necessary for any class.

CEO Nicolette Pawlowski holds a PhD in Educational Policy Studies and has taught in multiple settings for over two decades; COO Agustin Garcia has devoted his career to training and teaching multiple dance styles. Many instructors hold Masters and PhD degrees. Instruction extends beyond the classroom: you'll see Los Sabrosos instructors dancing at Ballroom socials, Bellydance haflas, and performances at congresses around the country. The studio offers choreography for wedding couples, performances at special events, and advice on approaching partners and improving your dancing in live settings.

The studio operates from two locations: the main studio at 4909 Penn Ave and The Annex at 5129 Penn Ave, dedicated to events, celebrations, and additional classes. The Annex hosts the studio's First and Third Saturday Noche Latina Latin dance socials and is available to rent for kids' birthday parties, wedding celebrations, and community events. Los Sabrosos also organizes specialised workshops covering styles like Casino Rueda, Merengue, Cumbia, Cabaret, and Bollywood, alongside performance bootcamps such as the Bollywood Bootcamp. The studio is a member of the Pittsburgh Salsa Roundtable and hosts and collaborates on dance events throughout Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
