Nritya Shakti Studio

Nritya Shakti Studio is a dance education space in Goregaon West, Mumbai, housed on the 6th floor of Shri Sai Corporate Park. The studio runs regular in-studio classes across multiple dance styles, intensive training programmes, kids and teens sessions, and offers studio rental for rehearsals, shoots, and podcast recordings.

The weekly class schedule spans Monday to Sunday, with offerings in Afro Dances, Dancehall Fusion, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz Technique, Jazz Funk, Ballet, Modern Contemporary, Party Style, House Dance, Bollywood, Semi Classical, and Choreography. Classes run from 3pm to 9pm on weekdays, with morning slots on weekends starting at 10am. The studio also runs specialist kids batches (Level 1 and Level 2), pre-teens, and advanced pre-teens sessions. Instructors include Roshni Iddya (Afro Dances), Sipen Chheda (Dancehall Fusion), Imran Mir (Choreography), Khushboo Bhimani (Pilates), Arushi Nigam (Beginners Ballet), Akash Jathar (Modern Contemporary), Jyoti Naik (Jazz Technique), Shirly Gomez (Jazz Funk), Kunaal Sangtani (Contemporary & Floorwork), Ganesh Garad (Hip Hop), Das (Party Style), Kevin (Masterclass), Karan Bhatia (House Dance), Aditya Iyer (Bollywood), Imran Shaikh (Flips & Tricks), Namrata Singh (Advanced Pre-teens), Amruta Raut (Pre-teens), Meghal Gupta (Kids Batch and Semi Classical), and Aparajita Chaudhuri (Kids Ballet).

The studio's flagship Intensive Training Program is a certificate course providing over 50 hours of dance classes per month taught by in-house faculty and guest teachers. Students can design the programme according to their body requirements and concentrate on a style of their choice. Past ITP showcases have featured student choreography by Neeraj Lohani, Shreya Shetty, Pratik Surve, Mahika Mirji (awarded Best Choreographer at ITP June 2023 batch), and Daisy Gulwani (awarded Best ITP Choreography at Student Showcase). The studio also offers the Movement and Performance Conservatory, a 6-month diploma programme aimed at educating dancers to become professionals, focusing on technique, versatility, music understanding, independent creation, and performance ability.

Studio facilities include two dance spaces: Studio A (24 feet × 21.25 feet × 12.5 feet high) and Studio B (32.75 feet × 25 feet × 12.5 feet high). Studio A rents from ₹1,200 per hour; Studio B from ₹2,000 per hour, with longer-booking discounts available. A green room is available on-site. The studio offers additional lighting services including video lights (Nanlite equipment, LED Par Lights), photo lighting (Godox equipment), backdrops in multiple colours, and a smoke machine. A 25% discount applies to bookings between 9:30pm and 7:30am. The studio also hosts podcast recordings with professional lighting setup.

Regular batch classes are priced from ₹2,119 for 4 classes to ₹4,068 for 8 classes (exclusive of GST). Kids and pre-teens batches are ₹3,000 for 8 classes, with 3-month and 6-month packages available. Drop-ins are ₹585 for 1.5 hours or ₹1,017 for 3 hours. Open class plans range from ₹2,543 for 5 classes in one month to ₹8,000 for 20 classes over two months.

Classes are structured sessions led by named instructors across a wide variety of styles. First-time visitors can drop in for 1.5 hours (₹585) or 3 hours (₹1,017), or join a regular batch. The studio emphasises a supportive, nurturing environment with attention to technique and personal growth.

The studio employs a diverse faculty including Roshni Iddya, Sipen Chheda, Imran Mir, Khushboo Bhimani, Arushi Nigam, Akash Jathar, Jyoti Naik, Shirly Gomez, Kunaal Sangtani, Ganesh Garad, Das, Kevin, Karan Bhatia, Aditya Iyer, Imran Shaikh, Namrata Singh, Amruta Raut, Meghal Gupta, and Aparajita Chaudhuri, each specialising in specific dance styles and age groups.

The studio explicitly offers a Beginners Ballet class and structures programmes to welcome dancers of all levels in a nurturing environment.
