About this studio

Rejoice Dance Studio is a Christian-based dance school in Fort Worth serving children from age 2 and adults. Founded by Ranille Drummond in 2018 as a Spring Break Camp before becoming a full studio, Rejoice teaches ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, and adaptive dance in a family-friendly environment rooted in Christian principles.

Class offerings span from Mommy and Me (ages 2+) through Pre-Ballet (ages 3–4) and leveled classes in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop for ages 5 and up. Tap is available for ages 9 and above. The studio also runs adaptive classes—Wonderfully Made for children ages 6–11 with learning differences and special needs, and Made to Move, a supportive jazz and lyrical class for pre-teens and teens ages 11+ who benefit from smaller class sizes and individualized instruction. Boys Dance Foundations focuses on strength, coordination, and foundational movement for boys ages 7–10. Advanced training is available by invitation, including Pre-Pointe and Pointe work integrated into Advanced Level Technique classes, with pointe approval determined individually based on strength, alignment, technique, and maturity.

Adult classes include Adult Ballet (Monday mornings 10:00–11:15 a.m. and Tuesday evenings 6:45–8:00 p.m.) and Adult Lyrical/Contemporary (Thursdays 6:45–7:45 p.m.). The fall 2026–2027 season runs from August 17 through December 11, with spring from January 11 through May 19. Adult classes are available by class pass only, in packages of 1, 4, 8, 15, or 30.

Ranille Drummond, originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, trained at Escola de Dança Petite Danse and earned her Bachelor's degree in Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2006. She taught at schools including Texas Ballet Theater and Art Ballet Academy before opening Rejoice. The teaching team includes Merideth Tullous (Studio Manager, BFA from Texas Christian University, former Director of Schools at Texas Ballet Theater), Josie Baldree (completed Boston Ballet Adaptive Dance Teacher Training), Lindsay Briggs (15 years teaching group fitness dance, now returning to ballet), Reida Dobi (trained in Albania, soloist and principal with Tirana State Opera and Ballet, teaches Vaganova-style technique at Texas Ballet Theater), Angelisa Cable (trained at Broadway Dance Center, worked as performer at Walt Disney World and Princess Cruise Lines), Giovanna Paulino (trained with nationally-recognized ballet companies including Texas Ballet Theatre, Ballet Austin, and Joffrey Ballet's Pre-Professional Dance Program), Joy Ward (danced with Petra Ballet Company 2015–2018 and 2020–present, Director of Petra's Junior Ballet Company), and Grace McCraw (trained for 15 years, seven years on competitive dance team).

The studio emphasizes modest, age-appropriate costumes and music choices aligned with Christian values. Parents consistently highlight the nurturing environment, professional teaching, and character development alongside technique. The studio hosts spring and fall recitals with story-driven performances, a Spring Break dance camp, and a Daddy-Daughter dance event (Christmas). Studio rentals are available for birthday parties, baby showers, auditions, and rehearsals, with customizable packages and a professional dance floor.
