Sabrosa Dance Studio

Sabrosa Dance Studio is based at rondo Mogilskie in Kraków and runs a deep schedule of Latin and urban dance classes across six days a week. The studio teaches salsa cubana at multiple levels (from beginner through intermediate and advanced), bachata in several formats, mambo, timba, zouk, hip hop, reggaeton, shuffle dance and urbanKiz. Most classes run in the evening, with intensive courses on Saturday mornings and weekend workshops.

The instructors are named and paired — you'll study with people like Kamil and Asia (bachata), Grzesiek and Olga (salsa cubana), Arczi and Pola (salsa kubańska), Rafał and Izka (mambo), Magda Szuflita (hip hop and reggaeton con hip hop), Bartef and Emilka or Justyna (urbanKiz), Marek and Nina (bachata), and Paweł and Magda (zouk lab). Instructors hold their own teaching slots and progression levels are clearly signposted — some classes require 18 months of prior training, others two years, and some are marked as open to all or explicitly from basics.

The schedule is granular. On Monday you can choose between bachata at two levels or salsa cubana at two levels. Tuesday offers salsa kubańska, mambo including dedicated social drills for intermediate dancers, and more salsa cubana. Wednesday brings hip hop from basics, reggaeton con hip hop, and bachata at two levels. Thursday has bachata, two levels of urbanKiz (standard and master), reggaeton flow, salsa cubana, and shuffle dance. Friday splits into timba, bachata, and open cuban steps. Weekends are for intensive courses, workshops and social dancing — Sunday includes a rotating "Fiesta de salsa on 2" and a zouk lab with two tracks (technique and figures).

The studio has recently added several new courses: salsa solo from basics, zouk lab in two specialisms, reggaeton con hip hop, shuffle dance, and an extra bachata slot. There is also a "Wprawki kubańskie" (Cuban steps practice) on Friday nights that runs without sign-up, marking it as a casual drop-in option.

You can book individual lessons, rent the space, and the studio runs events and offers corporate packages. A shop and blog are available on the website.

Most evening classes run for two hours, from 18:00 or later. Weekday options begin at 18:00; weekend intensives start at 11:00 in the morning. You'll be guided into the right level — classes are tagged clearly as beginner ("od podstaw"), intermediate ("P3", "P/S"), advanced ("S", "S+") or requiring specific prior training. Many classes work in couples, though solo options exist.

Classes are taught by named instructors, almost always in pairs. The studio also features open-level classes led by solo instructors such as Arczi (Cuban steps) and DJ Sharky (zouk practice).

The studio offers many classes marked "od podstaw" (from basics) across salsa cubana, bachata, hip hop, reggaeton con hip hop, and salsa solo, and publishes level requirements clearly for advanced or intermediate courses.
