About this studio

AT Dance School has taught dance in Kraków since 1992. The studio is located at Topolowa 22, inside Primary School No. 3 (Szkoła Podstawowa Nr 3), where there are several dance halls with mirrors.

The school is well known in Poland for its work with Discofox—a social partner dance also known as "dwa na jeden" (two-on-one), Hustle, or Discotep. Beyond Discofox, AT Dance teaches Standard ballroom dances (English Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep), Latin American dances (Samba, Cha-cha, Rumba), West Coast Swing, Bachata, and Salsa. For those wanting to move and have fun, the school offers classes in Zumba, belly dance, stretching, jazz dance, burlesque, and Salsa Lady Styling. There are also dedicated classes for women of all ages, including a "Dance for Women 40+" option.

You can train as a couple, as a single (with rotating or assigned partners in group classes), or take private lessons one-on-one with an instructor. Group classes run on a rolling schedule with new cohorts starting roughly every 2–3 weeks; registration is required. Sunday crash courses in Bachata run from 17:30 to 20:30 for both beginners and advanced dancers, with weekly new figures, isolations, and technique work. Couples can dance together or rotate partners—rotations are optional.

Private lessons are available 7 days a week from 8:00 to 22:30, scheduled by appointment. Singles learning privately are paired with an instructor partner; couples work with the same instructor team throughout. The school specializes in first-dance lessons for engaged couples, offering choreography in English Waltz, Viennese Waltz, or utility dance, with options for simple steps and dips or full choreography to one song or a medley. Wedding packages also cover father–daughter dances, mother–son dances, father–mother dances, and bridal party routines.

The instructors have extensive competition and workshop experience both in Poland and abroad, and many successful competitive pairs have trained here. The school has organized numerous Discofox competitions and workshops across Poland. Single-day Discofox workshops are also offered. For those who prefer learning at home, the school sells five volumes of Discofox instruction on DVD, plus English Waltz, Viennese Waltz, and Blues DVDs.
