About this studio
Spokane Elite Dance Studio opened in June 2010 with a mission to build community through dance education. What started as a studio for 80 students quickly grew to double that size within two years, and the momentum has continued. The studio's philosophy centres on making families feel at home—there's laughter, friendships, and an atmosphere of comfort and support alongside serious technical training.
The studio operates three dedicated dance spaces with glued-down marley flooring (40'×40', 30'×30', and 25'×20'), along with a spacious lobby, viewing platform for younger classes, studio kitchen and lounge area, two dressing rooms, two bathrooms, and a private parking lot. Classes run Monday to Thursday 3:30pm–8:00pm, Friday 3:30pm–7:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am–11:00am.
Young dancers start with the Twinkle Toes Program (ages 3–6), which introduces ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop alongside rhythm activities to build musical awareness. The Mini Movers Program (ages 5–11, levels 1–2) focuses on building self-confidence, artistry and a passion for hard work. Intermediate and advanced dancers progress through the Progressions Program (levels 3–4, ages 9–14) and Elevated Program (levels 5–7, ages 12+), where technique is pushed while maintaining a fun and safe environment. The studio emphasises the balance between artistry and athleticism, with personal growth at the core of all work.
Instructors train regularly at national conventions to keep classroom content effective and relevant. The studio calendar includes studio closure days, themed weeks like Spirit Week and Parents-Can-Dance-Too Week, performance dates, and upcoming events. An All Star Program and regular performances give dancers opportunities to showcase their skills.
