About this studio

Studio Buenos Aires is a cultural space in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, a few minutes from the 12th and 20th. It operates two teaching studios: one of 35 m² and another of 92 m², both with solid oak parquet flooring.

The studio teaches tango argentino at all levels, including milonga and Argentine waltz. It also runs dance classes in classical ballet (with intermediate, intermediate-advanced and advanced levels for children and teens), hip-hop for ages 5–10, and Indian dance / Bollywood. Theatrical improvisation and theatre are offered for adults. Barre au sol is listed among adult offerings.

Children's programmes include classical ballet on Monday and Thursday evenings, Saturday dance classes (including an awakening class for ages 4–5), and hip-hop on Wednesday afternoons (ages 5–7 and 7–10). Musical awakening and piano lessons are taught through a partner programme. Holiday workshop stages are run for children.

The larger studio (92 m²) is equipped with a tuned upright piano, dance bars, an adjustable lighting rig, CD and MP3 connectivity, mirrors, curtains, WiFi, 24 floor mats for practice, heating and wheelchair access. The smaller studio (35 m²) has similar kit: CD and MP3 sound, mirrors, curtains, WiFi, 15 floor mats, heating and wheelchair access. Both spaces can be hired for classes, workshops, rehearsals, music practice, theatre work, or performances.

Tango instruction is delivered by the Bustelo sisters, who lead initiation-level tango stages on Saturday afternoons (14:00–16:45) and milonga workshops on Saturday evenings (17:00–18:30). A review on the website praises the piano and music teaching of an instructor named Jérémy, noting that young students learn rhythm, musicality and physical expression together.

Visits to the studio must be arranged by appointment. Bookings are made by email, and you should provide contact details, the activity you wish to join, party size, preferred time, your name, and any relevant organisation or website.
