Susan's Studio-Dance & Fitness Inc.

Susan's Studio of Dance & Fitness has been part of the Haughton community and surrounding areas since 1992. The studio is built on a non-competitive, family-oriented approach where students are encouraged to dance, cheer, and tumble with patience and love. In the studio's own words: "At Susan's Studio, you aren't just a student, a number, a monthly tuition-fee, you are an answered prayer."

The studio offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, cheer prep, and gymnastics, and runs both summer and fall sessions. When read on 14 October 2026, the studio's own website was inviting students to its 34th season and listing fall classes for 2026-27. The teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a nurturing environment where each child feels seen, supported, and encouraged to grow in confidence and self-worth alongside developing technique.

Parent testimonials published on the studio's own website describe it as tight-knit and welcoming: one parent says their daughter has attended since PreK and immediately felt like family, and another that their daughter danced there for ten years and credits the instructors, including Mrs. Susan and Mrs. Bre, with creating a positive space where children are valued. The studio maintains a Parent Portal and publishes both summer and fall class schedules.

When you arrive at Susan's Studio, you'll find a family-oriented environment where the emphasis is on encouragement and personal growth rather than competition. Classes are available in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, cheer prep, and gymnastics across different age groups.

Parent testimonials on the studio's own website name Mrs. Susan and Mrs. Bre as its instructors; the studio does not publish a formal staff list.

The studio emphasizes patience and encouragement for all students, creating a welcoming space for beginners.
