Classes begin at 20 months old and progress through structured age groups, making it easy for complete beginners to start at the right level.
About this studio
Tallmadge Academy of Dance teaches a wide range of styles including ballet, tap, hip-hop, and jazz. Classes run Monday to Thursday from 5–9 pm, with Saturday morning sessions from 9 am–1 pm.
The studio keeps class sizes small, with no more than 15 students in any class. This allows instructors to guide each dancer individually through their progression.
TAD structures classes by age and level. The youngest students start in Terrific Tots (20 months to 3 years) or TAD Tots (ages 3–4), then move through Preschool/PreK, Kinder Kids, Prime, and Junior/Seniors. Older and more advanced dancers can join Pre-Advance 1, Advance 2, Advance 1, or Elite tracks, with some classes open to ages up to 23. Adult classes are also available for ages 18 and up. The studio offers Musical Theatre and Competition programmes alongside regular technique classes and Special Events.
