Classes range from traditional modern and contemporary work to modern with jazz elements. For younger students, the Modern Kids class (ages 8–11) uses a movement-intensive, sports-focused approach. Teenagers (14–16) work at a more artistic level, while Modern+Jazz Teens blends contemporary and jazz vocabulary. Modern Ballet combines Martha Graham and José Limón technique with classical ballet training, working with contraction, release and breathing elements.
Adult modern classes run at all levels: Beginner A, B, C and D meet on weekday mornings and evenings, with Modern+Jazz and a contemporary sequence (Modern E) also available. The school publishes a full course schedule (Kursplan) and offers trial lessons (Probestunde) on request. A Tanzwerk Summer School runs annually and holiday camps are available.
