About this studio
The Palladium is a 6,000 square foot dance and event centre in north Houston. They teach Latin dance—salsa, bachata, and mambo—through group classes and private lessons. Group classes are designed for beginners and require no partner or prior experience.
Beginners can join 4-week programmes that start at the beginning of every month. Private lessons cost $80 per hour with most instructors (Sebastian, Joey, Aldo, Micah, and Emily) or $100 per hour with Thalia. Several instructors speak Spanish.
Every Friday, The Palladium hosts Havana Latin Nights, a club night featuring Latin music and dancing. Entry is 18+ (21+ to drink), and your cover includes a free beginner salsa class plus access to a full bar. The venue also runs The Palladium Social on the 2nd Saturday of each month and The Salrica Social on the 4th Saturday.
The space consists of four teaching rooms and can be rented hourly or for full-day events. Room A (60×30, capacity 180) rents for $400/hour; Room B (45×30, capacity 100) for $200/hour; Room C (29×23, capacity 30) for $100/hour; Room D (10×6, capacity 4) for $30/hour. Full studio Saturday rental is $8,000, Sunday $6,000. The studio accepts credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. Valid ID is required for entry to evening events.
