About this studio
The Reno Empire is a dance studio based at 1185 California Ave, suite G in Reno, Nevada. The studio was established in 2017 and now operates from a new location offering group classes and private lessons across multiple styles.
The class schedule runs Monday through Thursday evenings, with Saturday morning sessions. Beginner heels classes are offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at varying times (6:30 pm to 7:30 pm). Wednesday and Thursday also feature beginner hip-hop options. A heels technique class runs on Saturday at 11 am. Contemporary classes are available Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The studio closes Friday and Sunday.
The Reno Empire runs competitive teams in contemporary, hip-hop, and heels, with team rehearsals scheduled alongside the general class programme. The studio also hosts social events in partnership with Sierra Event Group, including Latin socials and bachata brunches at The Reno Public Market. Free community dance lessons precede these social events, with instructor Monique Manzo teaching the bachata brunch lesson.
Membership options include a 12-month Empire Member pass offering unlimited access to all group classes and discounts on private lessons, or non-member unlimited access on a 30-day basis. Drop-in rates are available for those testing a single class. Private lessons are offered to both members and non-members. The studio maintains active social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, and YouTube.
