Before your first class
The studio welcomes beginners through Intro to Dance and Tiny Twirls classes, which introduce young children to dance basics in a playful, encouraging environment with no prior experience required.
Each dance style has its own dress code to ensure unity, focus, and proper instructor observation of body alignment.
Proper dance attire specific to each style; ballet students must wear a black leotard (optional black skirt), pink or skin-tone tights, and pink ballet shoes.
Six-week caregiver-and-child programmes (Snuggle & Shuffle, Caregivers & Cuties) are $125; monthly tuition due by the 25th of the month prior to class.
About this studio
Triple C Dance Academy teaches Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Gymnastics Dance, and Intro to Dance classes for young dancers in Fort Myers. The studio's name honours three generations: Carolyn (founder Celecia's mother), Celecia herself, and her daughter Ciara. Celecia Lyew Kong founded the academy after beginning her own dance career at age 5, training in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip hop through high school. She was a member of Florida State University's Golden Girls dance team, ranking nationally in Jazz and Hip Hop, and later performed with FSU's Kollage Dance Troupe. After completing graduate school, she moved to Fort Myers and began teaching Praise Dance in 2012, discovering the fulfilment of mentoring the next generation. Triple C Dance Academy is built on core values of mentorship, leadership, growth, accountability, reliability, community, and fun.
The 2026–2027 fall dance season officially begins August 8–9. Classes are structured across multiple levels: Tiny Twirls Intro to Dance, Gymnastics Dance, and Ballet/Jazz classes run on Friday and Saturday mornings; caregiver-and-child programmes including Snuggle & Shuffle (baby wearing dance, Tuesdays at 12:30 PM) and Caregivers & Cuties Creative Movement (Thursdays at 2:00 PM) are six-week programmes for $125; and Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 classes run Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings. All main studio classes are 40 minutes long. Classes at Creative World are 30 minutes long.
The team includes owner Celecia, enrollment coordinator Sarah, and teaching assistants RenAsia, Tracey, Jayla, and Kaylah—all required to pass background checks. The studio hosts a Bring a Friend to Dance Day on August 28–29 and runs summer dance clinics on July 18 and July 25 for ages 3–6 and ages 7+. Fall and spring recitals are held at Agape Christian Fellowship (8270 Buckingham Rd, Fort Myers) and Lehigh Senior High School (901 Gunnery Rd N, Lehigh Acres) respectively.
Tuition is due monthly by the 25th of the month prior to class, collected via autopay with a card on file, though cash payment and manual app payment are also accepted. A written 30-day notice is required to stop enrollment. Students may make up missed classes by taking another class in their same age range the same week of absence or the week following. The studio uses the Dance Studio Pro app for registration and communication.

After graduate school, she moved to Fort Myers and began teaching Praise Dance in 2012, discovering the reward of mentoring young dancers. Triple C Dance Academy is the natural outcome of this passion for dance and mentorship.
