Turning Pointe Dance Center

Turning Pointe Dance Center is a recreational and competition dance studio in Latham serving dancers from age 3 through adulthood. The studio's mission centres on building confidence that extends beyond the dance floor—the idea that when dancers trust themselves, they move with stronger technique, greater fluidity, and deeper emotion. The studio runs a separate competition level programme for dancers aged 5 and up, organised by age band (5–8, 8–12, 13+). These classes include ballet, tap technique, jazz technique, hip hop, acro, and specialised training in jumps and turns, strength work, improvisation and pop-up classes. Competition level classes are longer and more intensive, running 45–75 minutes depending on level and focus.

Turning Pointe offers both a regular fall schedule and summer programming (running late July through August). Summer includes recreational classes, competition-level intensives, and a four-day intensive running 17–20 August for ages 5 and up. Fall 2026 classes are taught Tuesday through Saturday mornings and afternoons/evenings; summer hours are Monday–Thursday, 3:30–7:30 pm. Pricing for individual classes ranges from $15–$75 depending on style and level.
