About this studio
West Coast Swing Lyon teaches a modern swing dance performed to varied music — pop, blues, R&B, funk — in the 5e arrondissement. Classes run at two levels. Beginners meet Monday 21:00–22:00 to learn the basics, rhythm and first combinations in a friendly atmosphere. Intermediates train Friday 20:00–21:00 on technique, musicality and integrated passes within choreographies. After each intermediate class, there is free social dancing from 21:00–22:00 to practise what you've learned.
Instructors are competitors with more than 10 years' experience. Teaching is progressive, accessible and motivating. The studio occupies a pleasant, renovated room at Gymnase Pierre Dodille with easy street parking. Your first lesson is free.
Beyond regular classes, the studio offers private lessons and wedding choreographies on request. Classes began on 7 September 2026.

Your first visit
You'll join a small group in a friendly, structured class. Beginners start with fundamentals; intermediates refine technique and musicality. After the intermediate Friday class, you can stay for free social dancing to apply what you've learned.
