Overview
National governing body for dancesport in Canada, originally founded 30 April 1970 and a WDSF full member since 7 July 1979. Recognised by the Canadian Olympic Committee, it sanctions the annual Canadian Closed Championships, works through five regional associations, and its Bylaws and Rule Book sets the competition dances for International Style Standard and Latin as well as North American Style Smooth and Rhythm.
