About this studio
Rytmiko is a dance and ballet school in Stuttgart-Vaihingen housed across more than 500 square metres. The studio runs over 60 dance classes per week with around 20 trained instructors. All teachers are qualified dance pedagogues and professional stage dancers who regularly work with known artists including Giovanni Zarrella, Helene Fischer, Joko & Klaas, and Mariah Carey. They appear regularly in theatre, advertising productions, and television shows including Masters of Dance, Got to Dance, Das Supertalent, and Dance Dance Dance.
The school teaches children from age 3 upwards, alongside teenagers and adults. For ballet, classes use a combination of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) method and the Waganowa method. RAD emphasises child-friendly, structured learning with a clear curriculum up to performance level 5, while Waganowa develops solid technical foundations for advanced ballet training. Ballet classes run for ages 6–16 years and progress from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels, including pointe work.
Beyond ballet, Rytmiko offers Hip Hop (ages 6–10, 8–12, 10–14, and teens), Breakdance (ages 6–16), Jazz Dance, Contemporary Modern (ages 12–16), K-Pop (ages 8–12 and teens), Commercial, Afro, Heels, and Yoga Dance Flow with Dance Conditioning. The studio also runs programmes for younger children (MAWIBA, Mama-Baby-Tanz, and Kleinkinder classes) and adult courses.
The school hosts special events including an open day (Tag der Offenen Tür), workshops, and private lessons. Rytmiko also offers services such as dance birthday parties (Tanzgeburtstag), hen/stag events (Junggesellenabschied), and photo shoots (Fotoshooting).
The Rhythms is the school's competitive dance crew. Founded in 2009 as a young ensemble and converted to a video project in 2015, the crew has won 2× runner-up at the South German Championship (SDF 2025 & 2026) and placed 4th at the German SDF Championship 2025. Rhythm Foundation is a video special project launched in 2015, welcoming intermediate and advanced dancers from all styles (Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary) for professional training and choreography filming.
For advanced and professional dancers, the Xperience Levelclass runs every Friday from 20:00 (90 minutes). Each week features a different style taught by national instructors. This class is free for all Rytmiko members and students from Tanz-Akademie Minkov in Winnenden and Professional Dance Academy Stuttgart. The class requires pre-registration and runs only with a minimum of 5 participants. All revenue goes to the guest artists.
