About this studio

Vaihinger Dance Center has been operating in Stuttgart-Vaihingen for over 30 years, offering dance and fitness classes for kids, teens and adults. The studio is run by Maribel and her daughter Vanessa as a mother-daughter partnership. Maribel's background spans classical ballet in Peru, stage and TV productions, and work with dance companies, with influences from ballet, jazz, Afro, salsa and urban dance styles. Vanessa grew up in the studio and studied tourism management with a focus on social media marketing; together they lead the VDC with a shared vision of creating a welcoming space.

The course range covers ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, commercial, jazz-dance, K-pop, reggaeton, Zumba®, Zumba Gold®, Zumba® Kids, Ballett Kids, pilates, yoga, and various fitness combinations including Cardio & Bauch-Beine-Po, Dance Mix & Bauch-Beine-Po, and Bauch-Beine-Po & Stretching. Classes are available throughout the week with a large teaching team including Tim Lamparter, Annika Zacherl, Marie-Christine Simeonidis, Vale Kellner, Anita Arnold, Sara Azh, Tammy Ruis, Sara Kubat, Samira, Hanna Wörn, Johanna-Maria Scheffler, Evelin Sokalski, Rebecca Nestler, Rebecca Böhmer, Melanie Kümmel, and Lea Juppenlatz.

The studio occupies a spacious, bright space in Stuttgart-Vaihingen with high ceilings, plenty of movement freedom, excellent acoustics and extra-long mirror walls. The studio is located minutes from the U-Bahn and is easily accessible for students from Möhringen, Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Birkach, Degerloch, Plieningen and surrounding areas. Many neighbourhoods lie within 2–8 km.

Ballett Kids classes run Monday 16:30–17:15 and Thursday 17:15–18:00, taught by Rebecca Böhmer and Sara Kubat and focusing on rhythm, musicality and classical technique through movement, improvisation and rhythm exercises. Zumba® Kids meets Wednesday 17:00–17:45 with Melanie Kümmel, combining easy-to-learn basic steps with aerobic elements and choreography.

First-time visitors can take a free trial class outside school holidays with no obligation. Contracts are month-to-month, cancellable at the end of any month. The studio emphasises small class sizes with individual attention and maintains a family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Vaihinger Dance Center was founded in 1993 and has operated continuously in Stuttgart-Vaihingen for over 30 years. The studio is owned and led by Maribel, whose dance background began in classical ballet in Peru and progressed through stage, TV and contemporary company work, combined with ongoing international training across ballet, jazz, Afro, salsa and urban styles.
