Before your first class
The studio offers beginner and mixed-level group classes for adults, and all children's classes welcome age 3 and up with no experience required.

About this studio
Dance@Central has been operating in Central, Hong Kong since 2011, offering classes in HipHop, K-pop, Contemporary Dance, Jazz and Jazz Funk to both children and adults. The studio is endorsed by the International Professional Dance Teacher Association (IPDTA) and teaches systematically to build strong understanding of rhythm, coordination and movement.
For children and teens (age 3–18), the studio offers Kids HipHop, Kids Jazz, Kids Jazz Funk and Kids K-pop, alongside urban, contemporary and competition dance training. All lessons are conducted in English by established dance choreographers. The studio's young dancers have achieved top-5 placements in street dance under 14 at DWC World Finals Prague, gold medals in DWC HK Qualifier street dance 2024 under 17, and championship titles in Asia Student Arts Festivals. Selected talented dancers are enrolled in regional and international competition and performance opportunities in Seoul, Taipei, Tokyo, Beijing and Singapore.
Adult classes run at beginner and mixed levels, with 45-minute sessions designed for working professionals. The studio also offers private coaching, tailored instruction in HipHop, Jazz Funk, K-pop and Contemporary Dance. Wedding packages include custom choreography and private instruction for bride and groom, with expert instructors working to ensure the first dance matches your vision.
The studio runs holiday dance camps (Summer, Easter, Winter and Spring) on a daily basis Mon–Fri during school holidays, with 2-hour sessions for ages 4–18. Levels range from beginner to advanced. The space is available for studio rental (Rooms A and B, 400 and 1000 square feet respectively), private parties, corporate events and team coaching. The studio moved to its current location in late April 2019 with upgraded dance space. Both studios are fully equipped with projector, air-conditioning, professional microphone and sound system.

Your first visit
Classes are conducted in English by professional, experienced instructors. Children and adults train in a structured, supportive environment focused on technique, rhythm and stage confidence. Who teaches here
JOVIENE is named as the Chief Trainer, described as actively working with Hype Label from Seoul, Korea in talent search campaigns. The Chief Trainer has served as professional dancer and choreographer for US pop stars including Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna, and K-pop stars including 2NE1 and Big Bang.

Dance@Central was established in 2011 in Central, Hong Kong Island. The studio moved to its current location (12–13 Jubilee Street, Man On Comm 15F) in late April 2019, with a major upgrade to its usable dance space.
