It's the second Dance With Me location in Manhattan and the seventh overall. The studio is convenient for commuters, situated near the Port Authority Bus Terminal and major subway lines (N, Q, R, W, B, D, F, M, 7), and surrounded by the Theater District and the Empire State Building.
The studio offers a broad range of dance programs for adults of all ages and experience levels. You can take private one-on-one lessons with certified instructors, join group dance classes, participate in dance fitness sessions, receive wedding dance coaching, or attend social dance parties. A $49 introductory offer is available (offer expires August 31). Group classes run throughout the week and cover multiple styles and levels.
Group classes include Beginner American Smooth, Choreolab, Beginner International Standard, Intermediate International Latin, Advanced International Latin, Social Basics: Salsa & Bachata, International Latin Style Choreography, Line Dance, Cali Salsa, Social Basics: West Coast Swing, Move & Groove, and Stretching. Times vary, with options at 6:00 PM, 6:50 PM, and 7:40 PM depending on the day. The class schedule shows classes available Monday through Friday in July.
The studio teaches American Rhythm (Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Mambo), American Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz), International Latin (Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive), International Standard (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep), and Social Styles (Salsa, Bachata, Hustle, Merengue, West Coast Swing, Cali Salsa). The studio also offers custom choreography services and specialises in wedding dance lessons tailored to your song and style.
Partner rotation is built into social group dance classes, so you can practise leading and following with different dancers. Private lessons pair you one-on-one with a certified instructor. The studio emphasises that no partner or prior experience is required to begin. Staff include Studio Manager Danai and Dance Instructor Alejandro.
