Edinburgh Dance School runs weekly classes for children aged 2½ to 16 in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Performing Arts, and Ballroom & Latin. Saturday morning sessions at Inch Park Community Sports Club include TwinkleStars Ballet Club, BallroomJuniors Club, and Street/Jazz Dance Club, running from 9 am until 4 pm during term. The school also offers one-to-one tuition and competition preparation classes at their private studio.
The school's Principal, Felicity Mclean, is Scotland's leading First Wedding Dance provider and a 5-times winner of the prestigious Scottish Wedding Industry VOWS Award for Specialist Wedding Services. She runs weekly beginner and improver Ballroom & Latin classes for adults on Thursday evenings, aimed at absolute beginners and improvers looking to learn while keeping fit.
All staff are Disclosure Scotland Registered and professionally trained as dancers, choreographers and teachers. The team includes Felicity, Saskia, Lana, Foteini, Max, Margaret, Peter, Lucy, Molly, and Louise.
Children can take part in syllabus Medal Test exams and annual stage show performances. The school's philosophy emphasises that classes should be fun as well as challenging, with student success measured against their own personal capabilities rather than those of their peers.
For wedding couples, the school offers customised First Wedding Dance packages. Lessons are taken as single hours spread over dates and times of your choosing, or back-to-back if preferred. Felicity helps couples select both their song and dance style—whether choreographed routine or particular style. Payment is made in full in cash at the first lesson. The school also sells First Dance gift vouchers for wedding gifts.

Your first visit
Children's Saturday classes run all day from 9 am to 4 pm at Inch Park Community Sports Club. For wedding dance lessons, you'll work one-to-one with Felicity at the private studio, bringing song choices to your first session so she can help you decide on style and choreography.
