Fierce Dance Academy in New Castle, Delaware teaches dance across a wide range of styles for all ages and levels. The studio offers ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary, hip hop, ballroom, tumbling, lyrical, jazz technique, pom, kinderdance, and hiphop. For the youngest dancers, kinderdance programmes introduce dance, creativity and imagination through 30-minute combination classes. Kinderdance 1 is for ages 2–3, Kinderdance 2 for ages 3–4, and Kinderdance 3 for ages 4–6. The studio describes itself as one of the only studios in the region to offer ballroom classes, where dancers learn international style Latin ballroom (Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive) on an individual basis rather than with a partner. It is also an Acrobatic Arts certified studio with certified instructors, offering tumbling classes for ages 4 and up that work within five elements: flexibility, strength, limbering, balancing, and tumbling.
Recreational classes are designed for dancers of all ages and skill levels. The studio also runs a competition team for dancers ages 4–19 ready to advance. Private lessons are available, as are summer intensives. The recreational and competition offerings mean there's a path for dancers from their first class through to performance on stage.
The studio maintains 200+ dancers trained and employs 10+ expert instructors. The space features spacious classrooms, professional lighting, sprung dance floors, and a full dancewear and merchandise shop. Parents and dancers have space to hang out together. The studio is run as an inclusive, family-oriented space where well-being, mental and physical health, safety, and happiness are prioritized alongside dancing abilities. Students learn not just technique but also dedication, professionalism, work ethic, and sportsmanship.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 4:00 pm–9:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am–1:00 pm. The studio is closed on Sunday. Classes are offered in Fall 26/27 and Summer 2026, with a Summer Intensive programme also listed. Contact the studio to discuss your dancer's interests and goals to find the best fit.
