Fred Astaire Dance Studios Carrollton teaches ballroom, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm and Swing styles at 1201 S Broadway Street, Suite 101. The studio is owned and directed by Daniel, a professional dancer with over 20 years' experience in Ballroom, Latin, Smooth and Rhythm, with particular depth in Cha Cha, Tango and Rumba. He is joined by Nina, also an owner with over 20 years of teaching and choreography experience, plus co-owners Becky and Anthony. Nina specialises in Cha Cha, Bolero and Argentine Tango and is known for her eye for styling and clean lines. Daniel is recognised for breaking down movement clearly and creating an environment full of laughter and encouragement.

The studio offers private lessons, group classes and practice parties as part of a structured curriculum covering American, Latin, International Style, Ballroom Style, Exhibition and Theater Arts dances for both social and competitive dancers. New students can try the introductory offer: two 30-minute private lessons for $99. Lessons are available 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM Monday – Friday, with booking required 48 hours in advance and 24 hours notice for cancellations.

Wedding dance instruction is a core offering. The studio customises wedding programmes from simple first-dance routines to fully choreographed dances for the whole wedding party. Couples can book a wedding consultation that includes two 30-minute private lessons plus personalised coaching, also for $99. The studio has choreographed father-daughter dances, mother-son dances and "YouTube-worthy" wedding party routines. Quinceañera and Sweet 16 specialties include the Waltz (Vals), Surprise Dance (Baile Sorpresa) and Father–Daughter Dance (Baile Padre-Hija), with packages starting at $1,200 and a $200 deposit required upon booking.

The studio actively runs Guest Parties, Showcases, Spotlights, Community Outreach Events, special Coaching Sessions and off-site Group Outings to build social interaction and allow students to apply their learning. It also offers Regional, National and International Pro-Am and Professional Dance Competitions for those seeking competitive opportunities. All instructors are certified in the Fred Astaire Curriculum and many hold Fine Arts degrees and are actively-competing, award-winning professional dancers. Nina (Owner & Studio Manager) brings over 20 years of teaching and choreography experience with a talent for styling and clean lines; she specialises in Cha Cha, Bolero and Argentine Tango. Becky (Co-Owner) trained in music and ballroom, with favourite styles including cha-cha, swing and foxtrot. Anthony (Co-Owner) is committed to creating a welcoming space for dancers of all ages and skill levels. All instructors are certified in the Fred Astaire Curriculum.

The studio explicitly welcomes students of all ages and abilities, with a progressive system of instruction and no prior dance experience required; you will progress more quickly with lessons scheduled close together.
