About this studio

Gravity Dance Studio is a 9-year-old dance studio based in Solna, Stockholm, built around the idea that dancers train hard, grow fast, and build community together. The studio offers open dance classes for all ages and skill levels, taught by local and international instructors who bring experience from international dance communities, performance stages and years of teaching.

Classes span a wide range of styles: hip hop, choreography, house, popping, dancehall, feminine vibe sessions, street jazz, contemporary, functional training, desi hip-hop, afro, and commercial. Each class has its own energy and focus. Hip hop classes teach groove, bounce, rhythm and classic moves combined with freestyle and choreography. House classes feature fast rhythmic footwork and smooth grooves built on a highly musical style. Contemporary blends strong technique with fluid, expressive movement. Heels classes offer high-energy choreography with attitude and powerful feminine expression. Popping dives into hitting, isolations and control. The studio welcomes beginners—classes are labelled by level from beginner through advanced/intermediate, and new dancers can start with a 3-class welcome offer for 480 kr to try different teachers and explore the space.

Youth courses run for ages 12–15 as full-term weekly training focused on foundations, rhythm, musicality, creativity and confidence in a supportive environment. Groups are kept small (around 12–20 students) to allow personal feedback and strong group dynamics. Youth options include Street-Dance with Hilma, Streetdance/Afro with Mambegay, Street-Dance with Mantas, and Street-Jazz with Emma. All youth groups perform at live events and student shows. Courses are priced at 2,650–2,950 kr per term (14 classes plus one break week), with discounts for registering to multiple courses.

The studio runs summer sessions and hosts guest teachers from around the world throughout the year, bringing new perspectives and inspiration. Class cards offer lower prices per class with instant credit back if you cancel. Regular weekly classes happen across multiple time slots, and a free trial class is available for those considering enrollment.
