The studio teaches combination classes that blend ballet, jazz and tap, alongside dedicated hip-hop and pointe classes, with age groups ranging from pre-ballet (ages 3–5) through to adult.
Classes meet multiple times per week across the week. Pre-ballet combination runs Monday and Saturday mornings; beginner combination (ages 6–8) meets Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; semi-intermediate (ages 9 and up) on Wednesday afternoons; pre-pointe and pointe classes on Wednesday evenings; hip-hop for ages 7 and up on Monday; and adult jazz and tap on Thursday evenings. More advanced students are placed by audition.
The annual recital takes place in June at Bellevue East High School Auditorium, typically featuring three shows. All students receive a DVD of the performance, a recital shirt and unlimited guest admissions. The studio runs competition teams that compete in 3–4 local, regional and national dance competitions each season. Dancers work through annual tryouts each spring, with selected groups placed in specific competition classes that train together throughout the season.
Dress code is consistent across classes: leotards and tights in any style or colour, with pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes and slip-on jazz shoes required. Hair must be secured back in a ponytail or bun. T-shirts, sweatpants and jeans are not permitted.
Tuition is $60 per month for a combination class, with family rates available: $110 for two students in one family, $165 for three. Additional classes cost $50 per month each. Registration is handled by email; you'll be asked to provide parent names, address, phone number, child's age and birthdate, and class choice.
