The academy teaches a comprehensive range of styles: ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, acro, improv, musical theater, jumps/leaps/turns, and strength and stretching. Regular recreational classes run Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 9pm, and Saturday from 9am to 1pm. For dancers ready to take their training further, Synergy offers a competitive program for dedicated dancers committed to competing in at least 4 competitions a year, attending regional and national conventions, and competing in solos, duets, trios, and group dances.
The studio tracks dancer progress through quarterly formal dance evaluations, documented as Dance Progress Reports, so both parents and students can see improvements and celebrate successes. All students develop strength, flexibility and technique through a set curriculum delivered by core teachers.
Beyond weekly classes, Synergy runs masterclasses on Fridays and Saturdays with varying disciplines from teachers and choreographers in the area. These are open to everyone, not just Synergy dancers, creating what the studio describes as an "in-house convention" atmosphere. Master class pricing ranges from $20–$30. Private lessons are also available for dancers of any age or skill level looking to improve specific skills. The studio has a dedicated Competition Coach, Caiti, with many years of experience judging across the United States, who works with dancers on what judges look for and polishing details for competition readiness.
