The studio's teaching approach centres on three core values: creativity, confidence and kindness. Classes encourage students to develop creativity through movement, music and expression. Teachers guide students to build self-esteem and confidence by fostering self-expression, a sense of achievement, positive relationships and by challenging comfort zones. The environment is designed to be safe and inclusive, with instructors modelling kindness and respect in all interactions.

All teachers at 4D are fully qualified and DBS checked. Amy teaches the Mill Road Wednesday class (3.45–6.00pm). The wider 4D network includes instructors Jodie Corbett, Caitlin Hamit, Sarah Buswell, Molly Matthews and Abi Potthast, each with expertise in dance and, where noted, acro teaching. Sara Ford is the founder and creative director.

4D has received recognition including a Mike Rouse Allyship Award (2022) and Performance & Dance School of The Year (UK) and Business Person of the Year awards for Sara Ford.
