Aesthetic Ballroom Club specializes in ballroom and Latin dance instruction for youth and adults in Charleston. The studio is led by two accomplished instructors. Alexander Spencer is a licensed USA Dance Adjudicator and certified instructor with credentials from DVIDA and ISTD, bringing over 30 years of experience as an international competitive ballroom dancer. He has worked as a guest choreographer for Cirque du Soleil's 'Verikai' and was featured in Tim Janis's "Enchanted Evening", a celebrated PBS programme filmed live at Carnegie Hall. Alina Spencer is a former Ukrainian National Latin Champion and European Cup Latin Champion, also holding USA Dance Adjudicator status and professional certifications from DVIDA and ISTD. She holds a master's degree in choreography from Lviv State University in Ukraine and brings over 20 years of experience as a dance trainer and performer.
The studio describes its environment as supportive and engaging, designed to build confidence, grace, and social skills alongside technical ability. All new students are invited to schedule a complimentary first dance lesson and studio tour. The studio is located at 2408 Ashley River Road in Charleston.
