About this studio
CNY Performing Arts Studio teaches recreational and competitive dance classes for dancers of all ages and experience levels. The studio is led by Studio Director and Instructor Christina Nojaim, supported by a teaching team that includes Katie Edwards (Hip Hop, Tap and Contemporary), Kelsey Desso (Hip Hop and Contemporary), Kristyn Skellington (tiny dancers), Olivia Rey (growing dancers), Kristina Moore (Jazz), and Mackenzie Machin (Acro).
The studio offers classes across multiple styles: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, Acro, and Creative Movement/Combo classes. Classes are organised by age and level, with dedicated nights for different groups — younger dancers meet on Thursdays for Creative Movement, Combination, Ballet, Jazz and mini Acro; lower middle school dancers have Tuesday and Wednesday slots; teenage dancers attend Monday evenings; and Saturday morning includes mandatory Strength, Conditioning and Flexibility for all competition dancers.
The school calendar runs from September through May, with summer classes offered from mid-July to mid-August. Fall registration opens in August each year, with classes beginning in mid-September. The studio holds an annual Dance Recital at the Palace Theatre (scheduled for 5 May 2027), with full dress rehearsals held in the studio on Thursday and Friday before the show, where photographers provide dance photos.
The studio emphasises a welcoming and supportive environment. Teachers engage in continuing education to develop their own skills and bring improved methods to their classes. The mission is to build lasting relationships with students and families while providing quality instruction and encouraging the love of dance.

Teachers continue their own professional development to improve their instruction.
