About this studio

Dance Dimensions of SWFL is a non-competitive dance studio in Northeast Cape Coral serving children and teens from age 2 through 18. The studio's philosophy centres on building confidence, fostering growth, and creating a lifelong love of dance and the stage. With more than 40 years of teaching experience, the studio's owner Misty and her staff are dedicated to helping each student succeed. All teachers are well trained, qualified, and required to stay current by attending conventions and dance classes for continued education. The studio is a member of both Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America, organisations that require teachers to be tested orally and in the classroom for certification.

The studio teaches jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and acro across multiple age levels and skill ranges. Classes begin as early as 18 months with parent-and-child options (Dance With Me) and progress through preschool, elementary, and teen levels. Preschool classes include Tutu Cute Creative Dance (ages 3–4), and classes like Tap and Twirl (ages 4–5) combine multiple styles. There is also a new Sensory Steps option for sensory-friendly creative dance (ages 3–5). Elementary students (ages 5–11) can take graded progressions in ballet, jazz, tap, and acro, plus hip hop and musical theatre. Teen classes (ages 12–18) offer ballet, jazz, intermediate/advanced tap, hip hop, and advanced acro, though Level 2 and advanced acro classes require teacher approval. Lyrical and contemporary are offered to intermediate and advanced ballet students only.

The studio is equipped with a professional floating dance floor designed to protect against impact injuries during training. Classes are kept small, and the studio emphasises personalised attention and never over-crowds classes. This approach allows students to learn proper technique with individual instruction. Studio hours are Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Every student participates in the annual recital, a highly acclaimed event featuring professional lighting and sound. The recital celebrates every dancer's hard work, growth, and artistry on stage. The studio also runs a Show Troupe that showcases talented dancers at community events and special performances throughout Southwest Florida.

Tuition is structured by class length: $60 per month for 30-minute classes, $75 for 45-minute classes, and $95 for one-hour classes. Annual registration is $45 per dancer or $65 per family. Families consistently praise the studio's welcoming atmosphere, supportive staff, and the friendships and confidence their children gain through dance.
