Dance U2 teaches partner and social dances at Avila Soccer Dance Hall on Anderson Mill Road in Austin. They offer group classes on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays, with drop-in attendance and no partner required. The group class schedule includes Salsa (Sundays 3–4 pm, Mondays 8 pm), Two Step (Sundays 4–4:45 pm), Swing (Sundays 4:45–5:30 pm), Argentine Tango (Sundays 5:30 pm), and Bachata (Wednesdays 8 pm). Each class is split into beginner and intermediate levels.
Group classes cost $69 per month for one class a week, or $118 per month for unlimited access to all styles offered (Salsa, Bachata, Two Step, Swing, and Argentine Tango). Longer commitments bring discounts: 12 months of one class a week comes to $43 per month, and 12 months unlimited is $78 per month. You can also earn referral credits—one month free for every three people you refer who sign up for a full month.
Private lessons are 45 minutes and available one-on-one, for couples, or in small groups. They cover Salsa, Cha-Cha, Merengue, Rumba, Bachata, Tango, Swing, Waltz, Two Step, and Kizomba. Private lesson pricing starts at $78 for a single lesson, dropping to $59 per lesson if you buy a 35-lesson package. Sign up for private lessons online and you'll receive one month of group classes free.
Dance U2 specialises in wedding dance instruction, teaching first dances, parent dances, and entrance choreography in styles including Waltz, Two Step, Tango, Swing, Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Cha-Cha, Merengue, Rumba, and Kizomba. They also offer group dance lessons for wedding guests at the reception, and can provide DJ music. Quinceañera packages include the special quinceañera dance, father–daughter dance, parents' dance, and group choreography for the celebration, with instruction beginning six months to a year in advance.
