About this studio
DanceSway has served Miami's dance community for over 15 years since its founding in 2009 by Roberto and Andrea. The studio is built on a belief in longer lessons, lower rates, and a welcoming environment for dancers of all backgrounds and skill levels.
You can learn American and International ballroom styles at DanceSway: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, ChaCha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Mambo, Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. Private lessons are tailored to your goals—whether you're building confidence from scratch, preparing for a wedding first dance, or training for competition. Group classes run for all skill levels and include drop-in options and unlimited monthly passes.
The studio sits at 7140 Bird Road with a spacious floor and free parking. It opens daily from 10 am to 10 pm. New students can book a free 30-minute trial class and access a discounted introductory program.
DanceSway also runs youth and children's programmes through West Miami Recreational Center, including Tiny Dancers (ages 4–6) and Youth Dancers (ages 7–11) in Ballet, Jazz, Ballroom, and Salsa, scheduled Mondays through Thursdays. Adults can join an evening Salsa class on Tuesdays.
The studio offers wedding dance choreography custom-tailored to your song, style, and comfort level. It can also be rented for events and hosts local dance community gatherings and partnerships. Award-winning instructors lead all classes and sessions.
