Owner and director Shannon Kelly runs the studio with a staff drawn from decades of combined teaching and dance industry experience. Classes span Ballet, Pointe, Partnering, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, and Hip-Hop across multiple levels.
The studio's approach centres on producing technically strong dancers ready to work in the dance industry. Shannon Kelly's students have gone on to pursue professional careers, dance in university conservatory programs, travel for dance opportunities, and open their own studios. The studio emphasises a family environment with smaller classes and personalised interaction between teachers and students.
KCS runs a pre-professional competitive Company team that travels to regional venues for conventions, intensives, and competitions. The Company rehearses on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays, with a Spring Showcase scheduled for May 26, 2026 at the Ben Tucker Theater in the Savannah Cultural Arts Center.
Beyond regular classes, the studio offers a Summer Intensive (June 2–6 and June 9–13, 2026) for ages 7 and up, featuring guest faculty and instruction in ballet technique, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Pointe, Variations, Partnering, Ballroom, Audition Techniques, and Flexibility and Strength Training. There is also a Princess Camp (June 29–July 3 and July 13–17, 2026) for ages 4–10, combining dance, arts, crafts, and snacks with a mini performance at week's end.
The studio hosts master classes with guest instructors throughout the year and a Holiday Showcase in December. Private lessons, coaching, and choreography are available by appointment. The Fall 2026 schedule runs Monday to Saturday, 4:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. weekdays and 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
