About this studio
Springs Dance operates two locations in Colorado Springs: West at 4175 Centennial Blvd and East at 5490 Powers Center Point. The studio teaches ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, aerial silks, and Brazilian capoeira to students from age 2 upwards.
The studio's approach centres on leadership development alongside technical training. Rather than emphasising competition and trophies, Springs Dance focuses on building discipline, creativity, resilience, teamwork, and self-confidence in every student. The belief is that excellence can be achieved by all students regardless of age, body type, or natural ability, with opportunities to succeed and contribute in diverse areas.
Programs are organised by age and level. Pre-Dance (ages 2–4) emphasises classroom skills and enjoyment. Fundamentals (ages 5–15) teaches the foundations of ballet, tap, and jazz with age-appropriate instruction. Youth Leveled Programs build on that foundation with additional styles, artistry, performance experience, and increasingly challenging training. Adult programs welcome both beginners and experienced dancers, providing a supportive environment to improve fitness, reduce stress, and discover creative expression.
Special offerings include Aerial Silks through Mountain Shadows Aerial Silks (for ages 8+, teens, and adults), Brazilian Capoeira (an afro-Brazilian martial arts program combining martial arts with dance, acrobatics, and live music), birthday parties with themes including Ballet Princess, Broadway Baby, All That Jazz, and Aerial Silks, and a 2026 Dance Camp.
The studio features sprung floors, full-length mirrors, and a sound system. New students can try a two-week intro program plus free shoes for $39.99. The West location operates Monday–Thursday 9 AM–8:30 PM and Saturday 9 AM–1 PM. The East location operates Monday–Thursday 4–8 PM and Saturday 9 AM–1 PM. Both are closed Friday and Sunday.
