Studio of MoveMINT

Studio of MoveMINT in Fort Worth offers dance classes for ages 18 months through adults, across a structured progression of levels designed around age and ability. The studio teaches ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and specialized classes including acro dance, tumble tots, strength and conditioning for dancers, and an adaptive dance program created in collaboration with occupational therapists.

The curriculum is built on formalized dance vocabulary. Ballet training is influenced by the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum. Classes range from Creative Rhythm and MoveMINT (CRM) for toddlers, which develops motor skills and introduces classroom structure, through Combo levels for ages 3–4, then Level I–V progression for older students. Pointe technique is offered by invitation only to Level IV students and above. Jazz focuses on rhythm and stylized combinations with a background in ballet required. Modern and contemporary classes explore both technique and creative expression, with improvisation and composition courses available. Kidtemporary/Jazz provides an introductory contemporary option for younger dancers.

The studio operates on a school-year schedule, with fall classes beginning 17 August each year. Studio hours run Mondays 4:00–9:00 PM, Tuesdays–Thursdays 9:00–11:00 AM and 4:00–9:00 PM, and Saturdays 9:00–11:00 AM. The facility has multiple studio spaces: Studio MOVE and Studio MINT enter through the main entrance, The Lab through Entrance 2, and Joy through a separate door. Students line up on benches before entering their studio.

The studio hosts MoveMINT Dance Company, an ensemble for trained dancers, and produces special events including the 2026 Nutcracker and Dancing For Joy performances. An open house allows new families to tour the space, meet teachers, and learn about class placement before the season begins. The studio has been voted Best of Fort Worth in 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024. Registration is managed through a parent portal where families can check attendance, pay tuition, and manage enrollment. Email is the recommended contact method.

On your first visit, you'll tour the space during the open house, identify your dancer's designated studio entrance, and meet your teachers before classes start. Younger children line up on benches before entering their studio; older students are encouraged to drop off promptly.

The studio offers classes for complete beginners from 18 months old, with a Foundations level for dancers 10+ new to dance, and level placement varies at instructor discretion.
