About this studio
Ballet Center of Fort Worth, founded in 2005, teaches classical ballet to ages 3 and up across four large studios in a new, purpose-built facility. The studio's Artistic Director is Enrica Tseng, who trained in Italy under Erik Bruhn, Yvette Chauviré, Bruno Telloli, Ricardo Nunez, and Ekaterina Maximova. Artistic Advisor Chung-Lin Tseng brings international dancing experience to the faculty. Together they lead a studio committed to integrated classes that encourage physical, intellectual, and emotional discipline, with a core goal to inspire and nurture a love of dance.
The class structure spans multiple levels. Pre-Ballet (ages 3–6) introduces creative movement and elementary steps. Basic Ballet (ages 7–10) develops posture, coordination, and pre-pointe elements. Intermediate and Advanced levels (ages 11 and up) build stamina, strength, and difficult pointe work, with the most advanced students learning variations from classical repertoire. Adult and teen classes are offered at beginner and intermediate levels, designed for former dancers and complete newcomers alike. Beyond ballet, the studio teaches Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and Musical Theater.
Ballet Center is also home to Ballet Frontier of Texas, established in 2009 as a 501(c)3 non-profit professional ballet company. Ballet Frontier produces high-caliber classical ballet with an annual Nutcracker and new productions each fall and spring. The company holds open auditions every February for dancers age 11 and up, and Nutcracker auditions in August for ages 7 and up, providing aspiring dancers the chance to train and perform alongside professionals. The company also delivers special performances and outreach programs to local schools.
The facility features 4 large studios, a welcoming waiting room, and ample parking. The new location opened to provide dedicated, professional space for both the school and the performing company. Adult drop-in classes cost $18 per session, with 10-class vouchers at $160. Beginner workshops run 9–14 weeks at $144–$224 depending on session length. The studio also offers a new Professional Pro Track for ballet students ages 13 and up, meeting three days per week during fall and spring semesters. A Pilates Workshop runs separately at $18 drop-in or on a weekly subscription basis.

Classes are structured with barre work, center combinations, and floor work. Beginner adults will learn basic positions and posture; intermediate students work on turning, jumping, and more advanced steps. Pre-registration is required for workshops (5-student minimum); drop-in adult classes welcome walk-ups at $18 per session.

Artistic Director Enrica Tseng brings over 30 years of professional and teaching experience and teaches intermediate adult ballet and upper-level classes; she trained in Italy under dancers including Erik Bruhn and Yvette Chauviré. Artistic Advisor Chung-Lin Tseng teaches Intermediate II and Advanced ballet. Faculty also includes Ms. Amy Hampton, Ms. Katy Schwarzweller, Ms. Beatrice, Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Linda, Mr. Domingo, Ms. Sojourn, Ms. Caterina, Ms. Abigail, Mr. Huang, and Ms. Augusta Vining (Pilates).
