Syracuse Dance Factory teaches dance to children and young people in East Syracuse, New York. The studio offers a wide range of styles across a structured weekly schedule, with classes throughout the week designed to suit different ages and levels.
Monday evenings run from 5pm to 8pm with back-to-back classes: Baton, Ribbon, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Jazz and Lyrical, all for ages 7 and up. Tuesday includes Technique, Dance Troupe, and three levels of tap: Mini Tapline, Taplines and Jr Taplines. Thursday focuses on Acro for ages 7 and up.
Saturday mornings offer beginner classes: Creative Movement for ages 3 and 4, Beginning Ballet and Beginning Tap for ages 5 and up, and Beginning Jazz for ages 5 and up. The morning continues with more advanced offerings: Competition, Pre-Pointe, Technique and Pointe classes. This progression from absolute beginner through to advanced technique gives students a clear path as they develop.
The studio describes itself as a nurturing environment where students explore their passion for dance. Classes are available as both individual and group instruction.
