About this studio

Dance Arts by Regina operates two full-time studios—in North Royalton and Tremont—offering professional dance instruction across multiple styles and age groups. The founder, Regina, leads a studio built on the belief that "the art of dance can transform a child" and is committed to developing "bodies, brains, and hearts through movement and music."

Classes span preschool through adult. Children's and Elementary Level classes (ages 3–10) at both locations focus on foundational movement, musicality, tempo, levels, and direction through imaginative play and developmentally appropriate technique. Upper Division programmes for intermediate and advanced students build on classical ballet technique, with rigorous training in all dance genres designed to develop body awareness, strength, artistry, and expression.

Dance Arts is home to NEW DANCE ARTISTS, a pre-professional youth performing company. The studio offers multiple pathways beyond weekly classes: students can audition for the company, participate in the annual Nutcracker production (open to dancers age 6 and up), perform in a professionally staged Spring Showcase, or compete at Youth America Grand Prix and the All Ohio Dance Festival. Private lessons and coaching are available, as is a Student Teacher Program for dancers ages 11 and up, which offers mentorship in teaching techniques and can count toward community service or tuition credits.

The studio hosts extensive community programming, including Girl Scout dance badges, birthday parties, and outreach to preschools, elementary schools, libraries, and workplaces. Performance opportunities are frequent: recent events include the Tremont Arts and Cultural Festival, Nutcracker performances and excerpts at Carnegie West Library and North Royalton Library, and community festival performances. Parent testimonials highlight Regina's patience, flexibility, focus on both technique and fun, and gift for creativity and understanding of children.
