About this studio

dance2b opened 8 years ago in Denver with a mission to give adults a space to continue dance training for any reason — recreational, pre-professional or professional. The studio was founded by Jennifer Tisdale, who trained in upstate New York with the founder of the Rochester City Ballet, studied in NYC workshops with The Rockettes, and performed professionally with the Atlanta Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet before earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Dayton and a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore.

The studio sits at 1917 Market St in downtown Denver and offers over 35 in-studio and livestream classes each week. Classes are taught at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, modern and tap. The space includes multiple classrooms with exposed brick and skylights. All classes focus on technique, performance and conditioning. You can take classes in person, join livestreams, or access over 200 recorded classes on demand through their library.

dance2b's core offering is the Premiere Membership, which gives you 12 in-studio classes per month, unlimited livestream access, and full on-demand library access. Members also get invited to monthly special events ranging from pop-up classes to viewings at the Cinematic Gallery, and receive a $10 gift card to the shop each month.

Beyond regular classes, the studio offers private training, group training, The Adult Intensive (a focused training programme), workshops and intensives. They also rent the studio to other professionals and run the Conservatory — a separate programme for ages 14–24 that runs Saturdays and includes private lessons, college audition prep, professional headshots, dance reels, and master classes. The Conservatory offers 5 scholarships for the Fall/Winter 2025 season with auditions on Saturday, 20 September.

The studio has also built a Cinematic Arts division that produces performances and events like the INSPIRE Gala, which brings dance, visual art and education together. Jennifer has worked with producers on major film and television productions including Dancing with the Stars, America's Got Talent, and Cirque Soleil, which inspired her to create cinema-quality training and production opportunities for the Denver dance community.

Studio history

dance2b opened 8 years ago in Denver, Colorado with a vision that adults needed a space and respect to continue dance training for their own reasons. Founder Jennifer Tisdale was inspired by her pre-professional experience training in upstate New York with the founder of the Rochester City Ballet, studying with The Rockettes in NYC, and performing with the Atlanta Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet. She later drew on her experience working with major film and television productions to create the studio's Cinematic Arts division.
