About this studio

Dream Talent is a dance and performance studio in Lexington founded by Creative Director Ashleigh Freda. The studio focuses on developing young dancers, models and performers through small class sizes, personalized coaching and meaningful mentorship. Rather than chasing trophies, Dream Talent's approach blends technical excellence with creativity, performance quality and personal growth. Ashleigh earned her bachelor's degree in Photojournalism from Point Park University and brings years of experience coaching performers of all ages. Her training style combines strong technical foundations with innovative conditioning, flexibility and movement training, including the Radar Technique in turning classes to help dancers improve control, consistency and confidence.

The fall semester runs from September 8th through December 18th, with a fall showcase week built into the final week of classes. Dream Talent's class schedule spans Monday through Saturday, with offerings ranging from Preschool Dance and Petite Technique for younger students through advanced classes like Pre Pointe, Elite/Trio Duo, and Junior Ballet 2. Specific classes include Hip Hop (ages 7–11), Tap (ages 7–11), Acro (levels 1–3), Leaps and Turns, Musical Theatre (ages 7+), Conditioning (ages 7+), Strength, Conditioning and Flexibility (ages 7+), and Modeling. Some classes require in-person evaluation before registration. The studio also runs Diamond Company and Mini Diamonds rehearsal and performance groups.

Dream Talent's reach extends beyond the studio. Under Ashleigh's direction, Dream Talent models and performers have appeared at prestigious events including New York Fashion Week, Atlanta Fashion Week and Fashion Parade, offering students real-world experience in the performing arts industry. The studio celebrates artistry as a community and inspires young performers both on and off the stage.

Birthday parties are available: 90-minute parties start at $200 (up to 12 guests, $10 per additional guest) and include interactive games, choice of crafts or glow party experience, and refreshments. Glam Sleepover parties start at $400 (up to 6 guests including the birthday child) and require an overnight host chaperone; add-ons include a foot spa experience ($50) and Shirley Temple drink station ($25). Your first visit

Arrive 10–15 minutes early to prepare. Classes are kept small with no observers allowed; you'll need your required leotards, tights, shoes, socks and equipment (available through the studio store). Some classes require an in-person evaluation before you can register.
