About this studio
Diana Evans School of Dance is a performing arts studio in Lexington offering classes for dancers from ages 2 through advanced levels. What started as a small-town studio has grown into one of the most recognised performing arts companies in the Lexington area and beyond, known for captivating audiences nationwide with quality performances.
The studio teaches Terrific 2's, Ballet and Bop, Kindergarten Only Class, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Acro, and a class for boys. An Advanced Placement Program serves dancers ready for more intensive training. Summer offerings include a 4 Day Intensive and 3 Day Young Dancer Workshop (required for Advanced Placement students), plus themed dance camps for pre-school dancers ages 4–7.
Faculty are led by Diana Evans Pulliam, who is accredited by Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America. She has taught dance since age thirteen and holds a BA in Education from the University of Kentucky. Evans Pulliam is a guest teacher and adjudicator for DMA and New York University, an active choreographer for theatre and television, and recipient of numerous national choreography awards. She was named Kentucky's 2006 Outstanding Arts Educator by the National Arts and Letters Society. The faculty are dedicated to providing positive training and performing experiences across all ages and skill levels.
The facility is housed in a newly renovated building completed in January 2020 at 152 E. Reynolds Road. It features 4 bright, spacious studios with top-of-the-line sprung floors, 3 student bathrooms, a dressing room, student lounge, and waiting area. Tours can be arranged by appointment. The studio has a long history of producing distinguished alumni and hosts an annual spring recital. Videos of performances are made available to families.

Diana Evans Pulliam directs the studio and teaches; she is accredited by Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America, holds a BA in Education from the University of Kentucky, and is an award-winning choreographer. The faculty team also includes Lacey Wolf Rice, Jennie Lockridge, Lisa Withrow, Summer Davis, Lauren Farmer, Kelsey Sandal, Linda Carlson, Addison Cremeans, Elizabeth Sweat, Brennan Shackelford, Debbie Love, Jasmine Singer, Emerson Walker, Lynzi Lawrence, and Haley Shaver.
