About this studio
Erin's Dance Studio has been teaching children to dance in Northwest Omaha for nearly 50 years. The studio occupies a 3,000 square-foot facility with two separate dance studios. The main studio features a raised-wood floor, and the main floor studio has observation windows in the waiting area so parents can watch classes.
Director and instructor Erin Wolfe has choreographed numerous plays and productions, and has been producing annual shows at the Orpheum Theater, Music Hall Theater and Iowa Western Arts Center since 1978. The studio is known for its annual performance at the beautiful Orpheum Theater, where students showcase what they've learned in a professional setting.
Classes cater to all skill levels, from preschoolers through advanced dancers. Offerings include ballet, tap, tumbling, lyrical, jazz, pre-pointe and dance team/pom. The studio runs combination classes that let students learn multiple styles in one session. Private lessons are available based on availability.
The teaching staff includes director Erin Wolfe, instructors Ms. Skye, Miss Anna B., Ms. Allison C., Ms. Rachel, Miss Rae, Miss Deb and Miss Zion, supported by assistants and substitutes. The studio emphasises positive reinforcement and aims to make learning fun and rewarding. Erin's is a member of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.
What to expect
Your first visit
Classes are taught by trained instructors who work with all ages and skill levels. New preschool students begin with a 30-minute class in ballet, tap and tumbling. Longer classes range from 45 to 75 minutes depending on what you choose, and you can watch your child through observation windows in the waiting area.
